Will wind power resurrect the U.S. steel industry?

Check out this deleted scene straight from the BTLS cutting room floor-in it David discusses the reality of Mayor John Fetterman's plan to restart the downtrodden economy of Braddock, PA. Fetterman hopes to turn things around for Braddock by attracting clean tech jobs (like the manufacturing of wind turbines) to Braddock's long-abandoned Carrie Furnace steel mill. This scene was skillfully edited for the web by another of our partners at Scientific American, Eric Olson.

What about junk removal Portland OR companies? I think that the local council could allocate more funds for recycling and environment preservation. What do you think? I know that wind power is also important, but what should we actually start with?
I dont usually reply, but after reading through so much info I had to say thanks!

Initial costs to implement these new energy sources should pay for themselves in a short amount of time. It is kind of like buying a new ERP system

Yes I think wind and other alternate energy sources will have a big impact on the steel industry. Initial costs to implement these new energy sources should pay for themselves in a short amount of time. It is kind of like buying a new ERP system. The erp system cost pays for itself because of the increased efficiencies in the manufacturing process. I think we will release similar savings with wind power.
Mister mayor looks like one tough dude, but seems to have a lot of sense also. I am all for the expansion of wind power and get these old shut down steel factories back up and running boosting our economic production of steel. Dave
I dont usually reply to posts but in this case. WOW!!!
It is really skillfully and beautifully edited video. Thanks to the masterminds who played a big role behind the making. It has a different look than the normal videos. Now I am glad to hear that after so many years of planning and discussion, Braddock's long-abandoned Carrie Furnace steel mill is going to get a new look. Which Minneapolis electrician services have you used. I have seen so many articles on its costs, structure and other standards. Looking more on this topic.
It helps to generate a high amount of electricity, and uses of electronic device like washer, computer, dryers, television , etc...etc possible.
Whoever edits and publishes these articles rlaely knows what they're doing.
Perhaps more attention should be placed with other methods of saving energy. Wind energy is good, of course, but there are ways to reduce the amount of energy we use in everyday applications, solar energy, hydro power are reliable as well as affordable source of energy.

I'm interested to know if it's okay to copy part of this post to use for my powerpoint project. I’ve bookmark your blog to return later. thanks!
Clean tech jobs? Maybe more focus should be put on other forms of energy saving methods. Wind energy is great, of course, but there are methods of reducing the amounts of energy we use in everyday applications, LED lighting for example is a lighting form that can reduce energy use quite greatly.
The electrification of the Automobile will bring new challenges to the power grid. The in home demand for high current 220 Volt outlets will grow for each Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). To reduce charging time a 480 Volt outlet could become more in demand for commercial use. I suppose you are asking what does this have to do with the current power grid and wind energy. Think about a community of 100 homes with 100 Air Conditioners, 100 Electric clothes dryers, 100 Electric stoves and 100 BEVs and PHEVs all consuming power at the same time. Will the BEVs and PHEVs be the tipping point for a transformer overload and failure?
A thought is this the time that a dedicated vertical wind turbine becomes an accessory to the vehicle for charging its batteries? This could be a Michigan challenge. Made in Michigan the "Wind Spire" could be the answer.
